Getting a bunch of projects organized as my new title “Project Manager” implies on this Tuesday. Definitely feeling the progress of last week and this song just keeps me moving!
How genius is this simple garden bench for recycled water? This is something I’d love to construct on my mom’s farm. It would be a great project to have kids help build as well! You could even do a bench on a smaller ‘kid’ scale. That way the kids can access their water and water their garden whenever needed!

Nothing makes me swoon more then getting swept away in the idea of lounging around in a tent. I have this dream of a small Yurt village out on my Mom’s property. I have saved images of these types of spaces for years! Maybe it’s all the ‘love is in the air’ time of year with Valentine’s Day and spring around the corner…

At the Altitude Summit I had the pleasure of meeting the designer, Amanda Jane Jones, for Kinfolk magazine. How did I not already know about this?! This is my new ‘go to’ for entertaining. From the second I laid my eyes on it I fell in love. I love everything from the paper it’s printed on (if you want to save some trees check out the ipad app, which is just as beautiful), the design and feel from cover to cover and the articles are simple and invite you in to try.
I’m excited for my new friendship with such a rad-creative girl (super cute one in glasses) + a great read! I can’t wait to host my first ‘Kinfolk-esque’ gathering.

I’ve just gotten back from the Altitude Summit in Salt Lake City. Phew! I feel so jazzed and thankful for all that has happened. I’m a bit on information overload. I will have to sort my thoughts more for an organized post on all that happened.
AMAZING is pretty much the word to sum it all up…. And now I just need 4 days of hibernation to catch up on sleep!
This is video is the cutest! I love the creativity with the story and I could listen to these children narrate all day. It has such a great Where the Wild Things are feel to it.

This video ad campaign for the Lanvin Fall/Winter 2011 collection pumps up the jam just right! Its getting me excited for the deep jewel toned dresses and sparkle of all the holiday parties.
Putting up the holiday decorations is one of my favorite times of year. It doesn’t quite feel like the season without snow, but the twinkle lights still add that magic touch.
